Annie's Garden Guest House

There is a graceful garden feeling in this room that contains the best of old and new. Beautiful antique treasures mingle with the beauty and comfort of todays deep luxurious bedding and sitting area. There is a down comforter on the pillow-topped sleigh bed with piles of soft smooth pillows. Bask in the gentle sunlight in this room filled with windows. Even in the hottest of Iowa's summer months you can relax in comfort as each room is air conditioned. Your get away from the every-day fast pace and hectic schedule takes on a timeless quality of years past when life was simpler.

Serenity and Comfort are often used to describe the Iris Room.This room features a magnificent antique scrolled high headboard. A deep comfortable chair and ottoman combined with the light of dusk through the west window makes this a very inviting evening hide away. A down comforter and plush pillows atop a pillow topped mattress will lull you to sleep or beckon you to read late into the night.

Immerse yourself in the romantic experience of a lovely canopy bed combined with luxurious comfort as you sink into the pillow-topped mattress and down filled comforter. Following a day of shopping in the Amana Colonies or a ride on the AmanaKolonieweg Bike trail you will want to put your feet up while enjoying the roomy easy chair and ottoman. Gleaming smooth wood floors, soft lighting and a selection of current and antique books invite you to while the hours in this peaceful atmosphere.

• Annie's Garden is a non-smoking environment. You are welcome to brave the elements to smoke outdoors if you choose.
• Our RATES are $90 per night per room (plus tax will total $101.70)
• A roll away bed is available in room for an additional charge of $30 (and additional tax).
• We maintain a three guest maximum per room policy.
• Check in time begins at 3:30 PM. If you would like to arrive later than 7 pm just call to let us know so that we can be prepared to welcome you. Check out time will be at 11 am.
• You will be greeted by our cat Sarah and hope that you will love her as we do but stress that she will not be seen in the guest areas.
• We respectfully request the you not bring your pets or hunting dogs for your stay at Annie's Garden Guest House.
• We welcome young guests over the age of sixteen.
• At time of reservation we gather credit card information to secure your reservation and to support our cancellation policy. We maintain a fourteen day cancellation policy in which a full refund will be tendered. A cancellation within less than fourteen days of the reservation will incur $50 per room per night reserved as a fee. A same day cancellation or failure to arrive without notice will incur the full room rate as a cancellation fee.
• There are extremely popular dates in Amana for which we maintain a thirty day cancellation policy as well as a two night minimum stay. These are Oktoberfest Weekend, Memorial Day weekend, Labor Day weekend and the Prelude to Christmas Weekend.
• We also adhere to the thirty day cancellation policy upon the occasion that all three rooms are reserved for a single group.
