Introduction

Waterfalls Inn Bed and Breakfast is listed on the Hawaii State Historical Register and the National Register of Historic Places (2003) because of its unique style and architecture. The plantation-style, 5,000 square foot home is located on the banks of the Wailuku River alongside dancing waterfalls in Hilo, Hawaii, on secluded Reed's Island. Waterfalls Inn - Hilo, Hawaii

A delicious tropical continental breakfast with Kona coffee, fruit smoothies, home baked breads, granola and fresh fruit is served every morning. All rooms have private baths with showers, telephone, mini-refrigerator, cable TV with VCR/DVD, and WiFi

Some rooms have whirlpool baths, others have large antique soaking tubs. Sleep on luxury pillowtop mattresses beneath down comforters. Listen to the natural sounds of a tropical rainforest drawing you to sleep. Awake refeshed to the bird songs and rainbows. Leave renewed in body and spirit.

Our current rates are $140-$215 per night, double occupancy (plus 11.25% tax), with a two-night minimum. A surcharge of $20 will be added for single nights, and $25 extra for additional persons. We have high speed wireless internet access for our guests' use.

Things to do...
Drive or walk over a one-lane wooden bridge to find yourself in a tropical paradise. Walk to Hilo Bay, Historic Downtown Hilo, the Farmers Market, and Rainbow Falls. Drive 30 miles to the volcano and walk up to Streaming lava. Drive to the vistor's center on Mauna Kea and peer at the stars.

Enjoy tropical fruit from fruit trees on the 1 1/2 acre property such as bananas, guavas, tangerines, lemons, limes, grapefruit, macadamia nuts, avacados and oranges. Fresh local fruit such as papaya and mango is served daily with breakfast. Fresh breads and pastries with local jams, homemade granola and yogurt, Kona coffee, tea, and soy milk is served daily for breakfast. Organic fruits and foods are chosen when available.
