Revive an old custom, and enjoy a traditional fresh flower lei greeting for two when you arrive at the romantic Shipman House. Your bedroom will be filled with sprays of orchids, and there's a basket with more orchids to float in the bath. Perhaps you will save some to put in your hair. This special must be arranged at least 1 week before check-in. You may specify fragrant or non-fragrant flowers. $150 plus tax.

Our Hula Heritage
Learn from a special hula teacher, as she learned from another one, years ago. She will tell you old Hawaiian legends as she helps you make a traditional ti leaf skirt, string a flower lei, and learn a simple hula. This must be arranged when you make your reservation. $75 per person, plus tax.

Sweethearts' Lei
Whether it's a birthday, engagement, wedding, anniversary, graduation or retirement, Hawaiians celebrate by wearing lei (there is no 's' for the plural). Surprise your special someone with an unforgettable adornment. Call us at least a week ahead to learn what is available, and let us arrange to have it here when you check in. Prices will vary with type of lei.
