Shipman House Bed & Breakfast Inn

are the two (separate) spacious bedrooms upstairs in the 1910 guesthouse, across the driveway. They have queen-size beds, window seats and private baths (shower/tubs). No kitchens. A broad, shared, screened lanai and an interior door separate the two bedrooms. $199/night per room.

On the first floor with antique koa twin beds, ceiling fan, and private bath with shower/tub. It opens onto the wraparound veranda. This is the room Charmian and Jack London stayed in. $199/night

Upstairs with koa furniture, queen-size bed and large private bath, adjacent in the hall, with claw foot tub and separate shower. Spectacular view of Hilo Bay. $219/night

Upstairs, it adjoins the upstairs porch, and has a private bath (shower/tub), small sitting area and antique koa queen-size bed. $199/night

• A reservation deposit of 50%, by check or credit card, is required, with the balance due upon arrival.
• A refund, less a 3% bookkeeping charge, will be made for cancellations received more than two weeks prior to the reserved date.
• Cancellations received within two weeks of the reservation date will get refunds if we are able to re-book the accommodation.
• Guests are asked to remove their shoes before entering the house.
• Guests may wish to bring soft-soled house slippers.
• We have no TV's available.
