Kihei, Hawaii is located on the south side of Maui and is the location of inviting Kihei bed and breakfasts. Kihei is home to the annual Whale Day Celebration. This festival lasts all day and is free to the public. It includes live music, great food from local restaurants, activities for kids as well as a parade, located close to the B&Bs. Also, Kihei is host to the Maui Film Festival each year during the month of June. This festival draws in quite a crowd of locals and tourists alike. It includes discussions, special dinner banquets and a gala to signify the end of the festival. After a day of activities relax at a Kihei inn. Kahei has a wonderful tourist attraction called Blue Water Rafting. This service allows tourists to explore all of the hidden caves and lava arches while snorkeling, rafting and diving. The restaurant is named after the state fish of Hawaii. This restaurant literally floats in the lagoon and offers local fare such as lobster and fresh fish.
