Welcome to the Paradox of fire & tranquility on the Big Island of Hawaii. Located just a mile from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, our Lodge and Retreat are where you'll wake up in peace and beauty.

We created the lodges for people who want more out of life than a whirlwind tour of the island. You may stroll through our lush garden trails, brushing against the giant fern leaves, look up at the native ohia trees, and be delighted by the wild and delicate orchids on the trees.

At Volcano Village Lodge we offer many customized services to make your trip to Paradise a lasting memory. We can accommodate most any request in advance of your arrival to Volcano.

Mauna Loa Lodge

The Mauna Loa is a sumptuous two-room suite, with a meditation loft. This lodge offers a King bed, vaulted ceiling, light and airy glass doors and windows, and wraparound decks next to the fish pond. $215 per night

Kilauea Lodge

Kilauea's dramatic glassed walls on three sides let you immediately blend into the primal garden of the bamboo, giant tree ferns, colorful Anthuriums, and the old Ohia trees. Enjoy a cozy gas fireplace while contemplating the sacred garden. $175 per night

Mauna Kea

A mirror image of the Haleakala, experience the rain forest canopies from the tree top. Perched high in the woods, the Mauna Kea lodge is a custom designed and richly hand crafted octagonal pavilion. $195 per night

Haleakala Lodge

One of the two new lodges in our handcrafted collection, the Haleakala's open-beam ceilings, Mahogany French doors and large windows bring in the natural light and forest air into this 400 square foot pavilion. $195 per night

Policies
  • Check-in: 3 - 6 pm; Check-out: 11 am. Please call for special arrangements, and let us know your anticipated arrival time.
  • Currently we accept cash, traveler's check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
  • We require 100% of the anticipated room charge to hold your reservation.
  • All room rates are based on two adults staying for minimum two nights.
  • There is a $25 surcharge for each additional guest.
  • There is a $50 surcharge for single night stay.
  • If you must cancel your reservation, we will return your deposit, minus a 15% processing fee if it is greater than 30 days from your original arrival date.
