Breakfast at Hale Kai Hawaii is served on the upper lanai, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Hilo Bay. The gourmet breakfasts include Big Island coffee, island fruits, juices, and breads, and special dishes such as Macadamia nut waffles, basil-feta frittata, taro pancakes, mango-apricot scones, Portuguese sausage, and more. A Common Room is available with refrigerator, ice, microwave, glasses and utensils, books, magazines, dining and touring information. Wi-Fi, high-speed internet access is available throughout the property. Hale Kai Hawaii features four oceanfront rooms, each with private bath, lanai, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and access to swimming pool and hot tub.

Policies
  • Rates range from $125 to $155 per night.
  • Rates plus tax, based on double occupancy.
  • Extra person, $20 per night.
  • Advance reservations - require a two-night minimum.
  • One night reservations only allowed when they fill a night between two prior reservations.
  • Three-night minimum from December 15 to January 15.
  • Well behaved parents and children 10 years and older are welcome.
  • Cash, personal check, traveler's check, or VISA/MC.
  • A deposit of 50% of your stay is required when making reservations.
  • Balance is due upon arrival.
  • Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
  • Cancellation policy - refund less $25 handling fee if notified 21 days prior to arrival; thereafter, refund less handling fee if room is re-booked.
  • Cancellations received less than 21 days prior to arrival and no-shows are responsible for the full balance of the reservation.
  • Hale Kai Hawaii is entirely Non-Smoking.
