Blessed with an ideal location, this peaceful country estate is near the ancient Place of Refuge National Historical Park and five beautiful bays. The Kona Coast is an ocean-lover's paradise (with Spiner dolphins, tropical fish, coral, turtles and whales) -- where people are full of Aloha and time is slow and easy. The elevation is ideal (about 700 feet) and the temperature is almost always 72 degrees with lots of sunshine, very little wind, and limited rain.

| This beautiful country estate offers many scenic views of the ocean. Without a house in sight as one looks down at the sea, grazing land provides an idyllic buffer of privacy. On the dry, sunny side of the Big Island, at an ideal elevation of 600 feet, the temperature is usually about 72 degrees year round with little wind and only moderate rainfall - enough to keep everything green. It's a 3-minute drive to the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park, 10 minutes to Kealakekua Underwater Sea Life Preserve, and 15 minutes to Ho'okena Beach Park, a lovely sandy cove. These areas are famous for an abundance of playful dolphins and the finest snorkeling in all of Hawaii. For your convenience, The Dragonfly provides towels and rents snorkel gear, wet suits and life vests. We offer guided tours for Dragonflyers who often experience the indescribable joy of having friendly, wild turtles and dolphins swim with them in these beautiful bays. |
