 Makawao, Hawaii (HI) Bed & Breakfast: The Banyan Bed and Breakfast has 7 individual cottages and suites. Under the Historic Plantation House roof is one of the cottages (C) and all 3 of the suites; it can be rented as a 2, 3 or 4 bedroom house. Each cottage and suite has it's own entrance, private bathroom and kitchenette. Each kitchenette includes a microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker with fresh ground coffee, teas, hot cocoa etc. Breakfast is served every morning to guests of the suites and cottages.

Introduction
Banyan Bed and Breakfast - Makawao, Hawaii Wonderfully removed from the hotel/resort beachfront crowds, the Banyan Bed and Breakfast simply overflows with peace and Hawaiiana. Giant Banyan, Monkeypod and Jacaranda trees create a peaceful, shady oasis amidst the fruit trees, flowers and wide open lawns. Several swings and hammocks hang from the trees offering comfortable private places around our 2 acre property. Our 50' swimming pool and Jacuzzi is for the private use of our guests. A continental breakfast featuring fresh fruit, muffin and juice is served every morning.

The Banyan Bed and Breakfast has 7 individual cottages and suites. Under the Historic Plantation House roof is one of the cottages and all 3 of the suites; it can be rented as a 2, 3 or 4 bedroom house. Each cottage and suite has its own entrance, private bathroom and kitchenette. Each kitchenette includes a microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker with fresh ground coffee, teas, hot cocoa etc. Breakfast is served every morning to guests of the suites and cottages. Cool and shady, Upcountry Maui is often a surprise to first time Maui visitors. Assuming the island is little more than hot sandy beaches and tropical jungle, the pleasant freshness of Upcountry is a secret you'll be pleased to have discovered. Although Upcountry Maui is close to the airport, Kahului, the North Shore beaches and North Coast jungles it is still far enough removed to be in a region of its own.
We now have a new handicap-accessible cottage. It has 2 separate bedrooms and baths for those who need a caregiver.

Banyan Bed and Breakfast has an ideal central location for touring Maui. From here little of the island is far away.

Rates and Policies
  • Rates range from $145 to $1,090 per night.
  • Rates do not include an 11.42% state hotel room and excise tax.
  • Rates are based on 1 or 2 person occupancy, extra guests will be charged an additional $30/ per person per night.
  • Check in: 2 P.M.; Check out: 11 A.M.
  • For the Christmas Holiday season (Dec. 20 through Jan. 4) there is a surcharge of 20% on all rates.
  • Cancellations:
    • More than 60 days before reservation date, refund is subject to a 15% charge.
    • Less than 60 days before reservation date, refund is subject to an 85% charge if room is not rebooked.
