Introduction
The Historic Worley B&B Inn was built in 1845, and was once the home of Captain William Jasper Worley and his family. During the early 1860's, the Inn stood stoically as young men and boys marched off to Atlanta to enlist in the Confederate Army and fight for their cause. One of those men was William J. Worley, who was elected Captain of Company D of the 1st Georgia State Line Regiment.
Historic Worley B&B Inn has a rich, extraordinary past that guests find as captivating as the Inn itself. The Inn remains today much as it was back then - a cozy respite and welcoming abode to many a weary traveler.
Lovingly restored, the Historic Worley B&B Inn retains the comfort and charm of its early beginnings. The Inn's meticulously refinished hardwood floors, and five stately fireplaces, create the perfect foundation for elegant and cozy accommodations. Add seven magnificently decorated guestrooms (three with wood burning fireplaces), each with a private bath, and you have the perfect environment for a relaxing, invigorating, or romantic home away from home.
Throughout the Inn you will find antiques and artifacts ranging from period furnishings to 19th century shoes and gloves subtlety displayed in all the right places.
