Introduction
Wisteria Hall is a gracious Southern belle built in the late 1700's on the old ramparts where friends and lovers used to stroll. When cotton was king, this grand lady turned around and gained her columns and antebellum facade. Coming to her present state through the years from Maria Randolph's elegant parties and Colonel Colley's family to a charming antique shop known as White Columns, it is now Wisteria Hall Bed and Breakfast.
Wisteria Room
Come swing under the pecan trees, dine in the Grand Hall, and relax on the verandah where the wisteria drapes the oaks. Recent restoration has revealed the hand-hewn beams and pegs, slab timbers, and the original wood shingle roof. All of this reminds us again of a gracious and historical past.
Wisteria Hall offers five comfortable guest rooms with private baths. All rooms are large and are furnished with antiques and family pieces. A full breakfast is served each morning to help you get started on an adventurous day. The Grand Hall is a great place to have breakfast, or you may choose to enjoy breakfast on the sun porch. There's plenty of time to linger with another cup of coffee. We now have Free Wireless Internet Access available.
The Classical South at its Best!
Guests may choose to relax in the ladies parlor. This is a gathering place where wine is served before you leave for dinner, and dessert and coffee are offered before you retire in the evening. The Grand Hall is a great place to have breakfast, a special luncheon, or a wonderful wedding reception. Weddings, receptions, homecomings, reunions and other private gatherings can be scheduled in the house and/or on the grounds for up to 150 persons. Business meetings and retreats can also be arranged at Wisteria Hall.
