The Windows Inn - McRae, Georgia A True Southern Inn

The Windows Inn, a stately, southern structure, was built in 1913 by W.B. Smith, a local attorney. The home has been restored to its original state with only a few modernizations for comfort. The majestic windows, high ceilings, hardwood floors, period furnishings and original light fixtures add to the antiquity of the home. Friendly innkeepers, peaceful gardens, a large front porch, comfortable chairs, soft beds, and delicious breakfasts are just a hint of what awaits you at The Windows Inn Bed and Breakfast.

McRae is a small town that is self-sufficient after many years of rich history. The "Crossroads Cities" of McRae and Helena, our sister city, are exactly that. US highway routes 23, 280, 319, 341, and 441 intersect in McRae. We're on your way to everywhere!

The Windows Inn offers four sleeping rooms each decorated with period antiques. Common areas include a large formal parlor and dining room, a serene garden area where native plants abound, and a wide front porch for enjoying the breezes.

Rates are $65 per night per room.
A full Southern breakfast is included.
Afternoon tea will be served on request.
Well behaved children over 12 are welcome. We have no pet accommodations on site, but can recommend a pet boarding veterinarian nearby.
