Welcome to Our Nature Getaway. We're adjacent to beautiful Hickorynut Cove with over 100 private acres to explore. Guests will be provided an enchanting mountain experience including:
  • Breathtaking view of Swan Lake with Eagle Mountain vista in the background
  • Savor a gourmet breakfast served on the veranda with a spectacular view of the mountain and lake
  • In addition to the delicious food, Christine's tablescapes provide a feast for the eyes
  • Enjoy evening refreshments on the veranda or in your room
  • Enjoy the antics of our local wildlife (and feed the critters)
  • Bird watchers will identify many species, including the pileated woodpecker
  • Cast a line for some bass fishing in our private Swan Lake
  • Rooms provide plenty of privacy-each with a separate entrance and private bathroom

Hummingbird Hideaway Enjoy your visit. Unplug, unwind, relax, renew your spirit. Feel free to roam wherever you like. You may fish, hike, etc. We share this special place with an abundance of wildlife - plant and animal alike - therefore we strive to keep it as wild and undisturbed as possible. "A heaven for people-a haven for nature." Looking out over Swan Lake you'll see Eagle Mountain, a National Wilderness area.

Lots of great restaurants in the area, shops, waterfalls, music shows, golfing, horseback riding, boating, etc. Or just wonderful peace and quiet. The mountains of North Georgia and Swan Lake are a great escape. Treat yourself to our mountain adventure.

Hummingbird Hideaway

The Hummingbird Hideaway room is named after the beautiful Ruby Throated Hummingbird and other species, which visit us each spring and summer, until they migrate south again for the winter. Amenities include: Private entrance, Private deluxe room with vanity, full bath, walk-in closet, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and coffee station. This Suite contains 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed. Accommodations for this suite is 3 plus. The room has a covered patio with porch swing overlooking Swan Lake and Eagle Mountain. Cable TV. Hummingbird Hideaway opens into "Swan Lobby" a shared room with stone fireplace and game nook, books, microwave and small refrigerator. $95 daily, plus tax.

Cottage at Swan Lake

The Cottage at Swan Lake offers guests a romantic and peaceful getaway for a true mountain experience. Amenities include: Private deck with table, chairs and swing overlooking Swan Lake and Eagle Mountain. Dining area with bay window. Living area with daybed. VCR/Cable TV, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and coffee station. Bedroom with queen bed. Full bath. Accommodations for 4 plus. $95 daily, plus tax

Pink Lady Slipper

Named for a native North Georgia flower, the Pink Lady Slipper offers private entrance, full vanity, bath, walk in closet, iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. Amenities include: Private entrance, Private deluxe room with vanity, full bath, walk-in closet, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and coffee station. This Suite contains 1 queen bed and 1 double convertible bed, with accommodations for 3 plus. The room has a covered patio with porch swing overlooking Swan Lake and Eagle Mountain. Cable TV. The room opens into "Swan Lobby" a shared room with stone fireplace and game nook, books, microwave and small refrigerator. $95 daily, plus tax
