"Stonehurst Place thanks you for considering a visit to our home. We are currently under construction and remodeling. We are adding solar panels, a water reclamation and recycling system to provide self-sufficiency for our home once we get into operation, improving our suites and baths, and, otherwise, becoming very eco-friendly.

We have appreciated your calls and emails and look forward to meeting new friends and visiting with previous guests. Anticipated re-opening is June 1. The Atlanta Botanical Garden on the north edge of Piedmont Park, the Margaret Mitchell House, the Atlanta Preservation Center, the Fox Theatre and the 14th Street Playhouse are among the activities within walking distance. The High Museum of Art and the Atlanta Symphony, are within easy reach. Georgia Tech is within 1 mile. Several popular restaurants can be found in the area.

Built in 1896, this shingle style house is a charming link to Atlanta's past. For over a century Stonehurst's granite columns and shaded grounds have witnessed the growth of urban Atlanta.
