Poindexter House - Ellijay, Georgia Home of the Georgia Apple Festival, Ellijay is nestled at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just minutes from the beginning of the Appalachian Trail. If you love the outdoors, you'll love Ellijay.

Built around 1890, this two story Victorian has been meticulously and beautifully restored. It features soaring ceilings, period antiques, and modern conveniences for your comfort and pleasure. Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Ellijay, you are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and local businesses. After a hearty country breakfast, take a stroll downtown or relax on the front porch swing or backyard gazebo, under the shade of magnificent old chestnut trees.
