In addition to a full breakfast, a continental breakfast, which includes a selection of juices, coffee, teas, cereal, fruit, and yogurt, is set up early each day in the Main Dining Room. Lunch offers an opportunity to sample a variety of Southern specialties such as Fried Chicken, Low Country Boil, Local Blue Crab Cakes with Red Pepper Sauce, or Seafood Gumbo.
cuisine Evening cocktails are a time-honored tradition at The Lodge on Little St. Simons Island. Hundred-year-old live oaks with their ghostly grey tendrils of Spanish Moss provide a natural canopy, beneath which guests gather around a bonfire to enjoy a crab boil or an oyster roast. When indoors, the cocktail hour usually features many examples of scrumptious regional fare.

After a day of outdoor recreation, family-style dinners satisfy even the heartiest appetite with bountiful meals. Conversation flows easily as guests discuss the day’s adventures and plan outings for tomorrow. At day’s end, guests retire to spacious guestrooms to be lulled to sleep by the sounds of nature.
