Lafayette Manor Inn - Washington, Georgia Lafayette Manor Inn is the perfect place to visit, for romantic getaways, family get-togethers or corporate retreats, and exquisite cuisine. At the Lafayette Manor Inn, you get more than a room or a meal. You get an experience. We are conveniently located on Hwy 78 between Athens and Augusta, and we are less than 2 hours away from Atlanta.

For engagements and weddings, we will gladly provide the
complementary use of our own 1960 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II.

Lafayette Manor Inn is a 3-diamond AAA approved accommodation, as well as a 3-diamond AAA approved restaurant

Dining Room

Our true passion is cooking. We spend endless hours driving from farmers markets to organic farms, in a quest for the freshest, most perfect ingredients, including incredibly good tasting grass-fed Black Angus organic beef raised locally, so as to prepare the most memorable, flavorful, yet subtle and delicate foods. Join us for the finest cuisine from France and its former colonies, with an occasional swing towards Italy. Sit on the porch or in our elegant dining rooms, and let the experience overwhelm your senses.

Enjoy a three-course gourmet breakfast to start your day the right way. For Lunch, we offer typical French Bistro food, served in our Casual Dining Room or outside on the porch. Served Tuesday through Saturday, from 11:30 - 1:30. We serve Brunches on Sundays, from 11:30 to 2:00. Dinners are a five-course meal affair that starts at 7:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday in our formal Dining Room, and ends around 10 pm with a private piano concerto.

Catering is also available for special occasions, on or off the premises. All of our food is cooked fresh, and our menus change daily. Reservations Required: call (706) 678-5922.

A horrible crime has just been committed. Do you have what it takes to solve it? Introducing Murder Mystery Weekends in the Cotton Capital at The Lafayette Manor Inn in Washington, Georgia. This is your chance to spend the weekend at one of Georgia's most elegant Bed and Breakfasts, and experience a delicious five-course gourmet dinner, and solve a mind boggling murder... all in one weekend!

Our Special Murder Mystery Weekend Prices includes:

  • Accommodations for Friday and Saturday nights
  • An evening social time on Friday night after dinner for all Murder Mystery sleuths
  • A gourmet breakfast for two on Saturday and Sunday mornings
  • A Saturday afternoon tour of either the Calloway Plantation, The Historic Museum or the Robert Toombs House
  • A five-course gourmet dinner for two at the Manor on Saturday night
  • Rates: $499 per couple for any room, on a first come first serve basis.
