Savannah, Georgia Bed & Breakfast: This yellow frame place built in the 1890s by a sea captain is one of the grandest houses on the western flank of Forsyth Park. A richly detailed staircase winds upstairs from a paneled vestibule and the Queen Anne decor of the formal robin's-egg-blue salon extends through the rest of the house. Guestrooms have oak paneling and oversize doors that are testimonials to turn-of-the-century craftsmanship. The more expensive rooms, including one in what used to be the dining room, are among the largest in town. All units contain well-kept bathrooms with shower-tub combinations. Home-baked breads and pastries are a staple of the breakfasts.

The inn is graced with well-preserved architectural details such as the solid oak fourteen-foot doors and inlaid hardwood floors. In your room you will find special soaps, lotions, robes, television, telephone - just about anything we can provide to make your stay a special one.

Wake up to the fragrant smells of our decadent gourmet breakfast. Later in the day, relax and refresh yourself for the evening with a glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres in the parlor.   • Room rates range from $175 to $275 per night.
  • The Courtyard Cottage is $225 per night.
  • The rate for each additional person is $20.
  • 2 night weekend minimum stay during most months, holidays or special event weekends.
  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • Guest pets are welcome (Courtyard Cottage only).
  • Limitations on children staying.
  • Credit card is charged one night deposit on booking date.
  • Deposit is refundable (less $25 processing fee) if cancelled at least 7 days prior to arrival date.
  • Check-in: 3 p.m. and Check-out time: 11 a.m.
