Introduction

The Dawson Street Inn (circa 1856), with all the charm and character of a bygone era, offers you the opportunity to step back in time. Upon arrival, relax on the front porch or by the pool with a glass of ice tea, or walk to the award-winning, historic downtown Thomasville. Expect coffee and tea service early. The inn is located in the heart of the Dawson Street Historic District within easy walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, The Lapham-Patterson house, The Big Oak, Thomasville Historical Museum and parks. Leave your car and walk. Parking is available on premises. With two grand staircases, 12-foot ceilings, incredible woodwork and crown-molding, formal living room and dining room, ten fireplaces, and formal grounds with a beautiful swimming pool, we are sure you will enjoy every minute of your stay with us.

Miss Alice's Room, one of our most elegant, is a large room with a king-size, four poster brass bed. $155
Miss Margaret's Treetop Room is a large second floor room with queen-size, cherry sleigh bed. The bath features a claw-foot tub. $145
Miss Ola's Room is a large second floor room with king-size, four poster rice bed. $155
Miss Ann's Room is a double-double, newly decorated and furnished. The private bath has a tub and shower with a separate dressing room. (Additional charge for more than 2 persons) $145
Dawson Street Room is a large, second floor room with queen-size, brass bed. $145
Miss Blanche's Garden Room is a large second floor room with antique bath facilities, a king-size brass bed and antique wicker furniture. $155

Each of our bedrooms feature cable television and a private bathroom. They also have large windows with views of the grounds, pool or historic district. Grounds are Charleston-style with old brick, stone walls and iron gates. All rates reflect double occupancy. Corporate and extended stay rates available. Deposit of one night's stay required or half of total amount for extended stays.
