Introduction

Comer House is a private historic residence on Monterey Square with two separate guest quarters--the Carriage House and a Studio apartment on the garden level. Each has its own entrance and is furnished with fine art and antiques.

Here in the center of the historic Monterey Square neighborhood of 19th century houses, antique shops and an international art school, you can enjoy the best location and ambiance Savannah's historic district has to offer.

We believe that our guests will enjoy the privacy and freedom of separate, self-catering quarters.
The Carriage House
is situated in the rear courtyard of the property and overlooks the gardens. It has two stories, one bedroom and one and a half baths. It is fully furnished, including laundry facilities and a complete kitchen, and has an extensive print and painting collections. It is an original building to the property and accommodates two adults and includes private parking. It is ideal for longer stays. 		The Studio
consists of a large bedroom/sitting room, a wet bar or pantry, and a full bath. The circa 1830 four-poster maple (high) bed is equipped with bedsteps. The flooring is wide, heart pine bordered with oak striping, and the large Savannah gray brick fireplace once housed an elaborate cast iron stove. The private entrance is through the rear courtyard. It accommodates two adults.

  • These are both self-catering accommodations--breakfast fare is stocked in your quarters upon arrival, as well as everything you will need for your stay.
  • They are nonsmoking. We have a two night minimum stay. No pets or children.
