| Captain Ward spent the early part of his life sailing the seas. When he arrived in Savannah, he opened a Stevedore company. This room is named for the captain’s life-long relationship with the sea. The tiled entry leads you to doors that open on to a large, but warm, apricot colored room with grass cloth wall treatments and floor-to-ceiling silk drapes. The apricot tones are contrasted by a black lacquered Chinese screen used as the headboard with the King size bed. Vintage lamps, custom bed treatments, working fireplace and two-person Jacuzzi all contribute to a wonderfully romantic escape. Rates: $269 - $329 |
