You will always find a full breakfast at the Blue Heron Inn. Some of our guest's favorites include Lime French Toast and Jan's Secret Recipe Pancakes, and Bill's Shrimp Omelets, made only with Sweet Georgia Shrimp, are always in demand. Enjoy breakfast on the back porch or in our dining room. Wine and light hors d'oeuvres are offered in the evening.

The Blue Heron Inn provides four large comfortable guest rooms and 2 suites overlooking marsh, tidal creek, Doboy Sound and The Intercoastal Waterway. All rooms have private baths. We are the closest accommodations to the Sapelo Island ferry dock and Visitors Center. Private tours of Sapleo Island, kayaking along the Atamaha, and offshore fishing excursions are just a few of the adventures your hosts can arrange for you. |

The Blue Heron Inn is just off Hwy. 99 halfway between exit 58 on I-95 and the historic town of Darien. The Inn is an ideal place to relax, especially for those traveling to or from Florida. Many coastal attractions are within a short drive including downtown Brunswick, St. Simon's Island, Jekyll Island, Sea Island and historic Savannah.
