Step into the grandeur of the Old South. Pamper yourself and your loved one with a few days at our mini-resort. Built in 1905, this is one of the oldest and most beautiful homes in Moultrie. It was built by William Henry Barber, a magnate in the turpentine industry, for his wife Florence and their five children. |

The first aroma waifting through the house in the mornings is that of freshly ground coffee brewing. We serve only Starbucks Premium Coffee, rich and flavorful, not too acidic ... perfect to wake up to! A beautifully set table awaits you in our dining room, complete with silver and crystal. Breakfast will be served at a set time that best works for all guests as early as 8:00 AM and as late as 9:30 AM. We will advise you of the breakfast time(s) during your stay. Each morning we serve a full, hot breakfast, just like Grandma used to make. We know you'll leave our table happy and satisfied. |

The dining room offers an elegant setting in which to enjoy a delightful breakfast surrounded by a beautiful curved wall, sparkling chandelier, built-in china cabinet, and fireplace.

Find a book in our library to curl up with during the afternoon, try your hand at a game of pool, or unfold an antique wood card table and play cards. Originally built as a secondary main floor bed-chamber by the Barbers, the Library was later turned into a music room. The Tucker family also enjoyed this room as a music room/library combination.

Feel your stress and tension melt away. Take a refreshing swim or relax by the pool with the soothing sounds of a waterfall and fountain. Our beautiful pool gardens are exotic by day and romantic at night. We can softly light the pool and surrounding area for you after sundown, or leave you to the lunar light.
