Housed on famous Gordon Row (circa 1853), and overlooking the charming Chatham Square, our historic inn boasts of delicious southern breakfasts, afternoon tea socials, weekend wine and cheese receptions, landscaped courtyard gardens, a comfortable parlor area, and beautifully decorated guest rooms. We also offer bedtime milk and cookies.

Only a 15 minute stroll to River Street, our streets are quieter than those closer to the River. We are about a 2 minute walk to Forsyth Park where you can take in the lush greenery and visit the famous fountain and monuments. |
| The Bed and Breakfast experience is a little different than that of staying in a large hotel. Walking into our inn feels like walking in to a private home (in fact, you are) where you are greeted by name, welcomed with afternoon tea, and are free to chat with our staff, the hosts for your visit. Our parlor area is a place for guests from all over the world to meet, exchange stories, and swap experiences. In fact, our Inn should feel more like a cozy home than just a place to spend the night. | Staying in our historic homes and cottages is part of the unique appeal of Savannah. The entrance to the main house is up an elegantly curved staircase. We have rooms located on the ground and main floors, and additionally up one or two flights of stairs - for the best view! Please let us know when you make your reservation if anyone in your party has difficulty climbing stairs as we will do our best to provide you with the most conveniently located rooms. |

We have two cats that are family at our Bed & Breakfast home. Although they are not allowed in any of our guest rooms or houses, they love to sit nearby when you enjoy our outdoor areas. They are friendly and happily return a scratch on the head with a gentle purr. Unlike a large hotel that may be staffed through out the night, we do hold normal business hours. We are available to assist you and take reservations between 8 am and 9 pm Eastern Standard Time, every day of the week. Check-in time is from 3 until 9 pm each night. There is an overnight manager available by phone for emergency situations. |

Get your day off to a good start! One of the most enjoyable aspects of being our guest is the delicious Southern-style breakfasts served each morning. We offer a wide variety, from Eggs Benedict to Belgian Waffles-and, of course, the Southern staple: stone-ground grits. You are certain to savor the hearty meal served fresh by your friendly waitress. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we take that fact very seriously! Our chefs are delighted to cater to your tastes and dietary needs. We will ensure that you leave our tables satisfied and energized, ready to go out and take in this spectacular city.
Every weekend, we invite you to join us between 5:30 and 6:30 for our intimate wine and cheese reception. The chef will prepare a savory appetizer to go along with a selection of both red and white wines. You are welcome to serve yourself and mingle with other guests in the parlor, or sit at a romantic table for two outside in the gardens. |
After a long day of sightseeing, your feet will certainly need a rest. Come back to the inn and pour yourself a glass of freshly-brewed iced tea, grab a sweet snack, and relax! Guests often take this time to visit, share stories, and browse our selection of local menus for making dinner plans. Our casual Georgia-style tea is served Sunday - Thursday from 4 until 6.
