Welcome to Harmony Hills!
The Thompson House Bed and Breakfast is a two-story Victorian located in the Flat Rock area which is only .2 of a mile of the city limits. The home was built in the early 1900s by the Thompson family as a boarding house for newly arrived immigrants employed as artisans at the nearby NC Granite Quarry.
The house features many of the things remembered from grandma's house; hand-carved woodwork both inside and out, high ceilings, 'gingerbread' trim and many of the original brass fixtures.
Outside the house the wraparound porch has plenty of rocking chairs. There is also a small outdoor balcony upstairs. Off-street parking.
There is a large formal dining room and an old fashioned parlor downstairs. A reading nook is located upstairs.
Each of our three guest rooms is furnished with an antique bed, dresser and armchairs.
