Jim Thorpe is a little jewel located at the southern tip of the Pocono mountains. Conveniently located 2 hours from New York City and 1 1/2 hours from Philadelphia, it makes for an easy weekend getaway or quick midweek escape.
All major plumbing and electrical was done in 1999 along with a new roof, carpeting, central a/c on floors 3 and 4 and refinishing of original hardwood floors. In 2005 new windows and a new front deck were completed. There are four guest rooms, and three common areas. The original stained glass windows and wide plank floors are guest favorites. The four floor is the owners quarters with a living room, bathroom and bedroom.
