The inn features 5 large, completely decorated bedroom suites with baths, large gourmet kitchen with custom walnut cabinetry plus a small gourmet kitchen for entertaining, a separate 750 square foot artist studio/apartment, civil war era springhouse and barn, fully fenced pastures, outbuildings, views and more. Manicured grounds, horses allowed.
Working with preservationists, the inn has been returned to the spirit and appearance of the late 18th century. All interior surfaces were uncovered and restored or replaced with materials of like kind. The usual 21st century mod-cons have been added, including Electrolux and Thermador appliances, dual glazed windows, 4 zone heating/cooling, and commercial grade fire/safety alarm. All wiring, plumbing, fixtures, roofing, have been replaced. The Inn has a full basement and excellent storage options throughout.
Located at an elevation of 1700 feet in the tip of the southern Appalachians, Jonesborough enjoys 4 mild seasons. The nearby University teaching hospital attracts great medical talent and is among the top 100 hospitals nationwide.
