The Inn at Mountain View, built in 1886 as a boarding house called "The Dew Drop Inn" and turned into a B&B in 1920, is a Country Southern Victorian Inn listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the "best" possible location in town, facing the Pick in Park on the town square. Mountain View is a Ozark Mountain music driven town, from Folk, to Bluegrass, to Irish. The Inn's front porch is one of the best places to enjoy, or play string instruments in all of the Ozark Mountains.
