Prescott is a true-west historic tourist town in Arizona's 'high country', within two hours drive of Phoenix, Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Most of Prescott's events and festivals happen at downtown’s Courthouse Plaza, a park-like setting surrounded by restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, antique shops and 'Whiskey Row'. Since the Pleasant Street Inn is located just three blocks from Courthouse Plaza it is in the perfect location for walking to just about everything. It is the only active B & B in downtown Prescott.
In 1990 the house was moved to its present location, completely restored and remodeled into the Pleasant Street Inn Bed and Breakfast. The 100 year old molding, doors and staircase, as well as the 10 foot ceilings, were preserved to show off the history of this beautiful Victorian home. It has four guest rooms with private baths, including two-two room suites (one with fireplace, the other with private porch), a living room with fireplace, and a connecting dining room. Front and side porches with wicker furniture are available for guests. A 1,350 ft private owners quarters with a large semi-commercial kitchen, living room, three bedrooms and one bath was added to the back of the house. It has a four-car garage, fenced private yard and patio.
The house is 4,700 sq ft and has been loving cared for inside and out.
