If I were thinking of purchasing a bed and breakfast, I would have hundreds of questions. My first three, however, would be location, location, location and Hidden Lake B&B offers a premier location along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and in close proximity to the Shawnee National Forest, the Cache River Wetlands, Giant City State Park, the Southern Illinois Wine Trail, Fern Clyffe State Park, Trail of Tears State Park and much, much more.   Wine tasting, horseback riding, hiking, biking, birding, peach and apple orchards, antiquing … Southernmost Illinois has it all!  And with its long tourism season, guests flock to the area from mid-April through mid-November with the winter months bringing those looking for a romantic escape.

Why are we selling? We came down to retire and, with the significant growth in tourism in the area, find ourselves being much busier than we like!
