On a hill overlooking the shores of Lake Juliana, sits the majestic Town Manor on the Lake Bed and Breakfast. Built in 1933, this grand old home carefully blends the grandeur of old Florida with all of the modern touches that makes this more than a bed and breakfast. The stately, brick home was built by a wealthy Lakeland businessman during the height of the depression. Due to the enormity of the house and the intricate elements found throughout, the manor provided employment to many craftsmen during a very difficult economic time. Many of the original features of the home remain today. Imported Italian tile and finely designed wood floors adorn the home. Original lighting and plumbing features can also be found throughout the 5,000 square foot estate. |

From the gentle sway of the palms to the quiet murmur of the waves on the golden sandy beach, Town Manor welcomes you home. Its tastefully furnished interiors will transport you to an era of luxurious splendor. Warm and inviting, the rooms are pictures of southern comfort and grace. Take a stroll through the rose gardens or curl up with a good book in the guest library. Sit by the fireplace listening to classical music from the grand player piano or grab a fishing pole and try your luck at bass fishing off the dock! Tastefully decorated, blending the classic style of the 1930's with all of the modern amenities, each guest room comes furnished with a private bath and a breathtaking view of Lake Juliana. The beds are king and queen size with feather bed mattresses and feature down comforters and plenty of extra fluffy pillows. All rooms include cable tv and wireless internet service. Throughout the manor are original pieces unique to the home including crystal and Italian tile. Each room has an abundance of whimsical yet stylish surprises that will pique your senses.
