Visit popular family attractions, such as Potter's Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe It or Not, the Alligator Farm, the Castillo de San Marco, and many others. Festivals fill the calendar year-round, many celebrating historic events or offering reenactments. Enjoy arts and craft fairs, seafood festivals, colonial celebrations, chowder debates, native American ceremonies, and torchlight parades. And from November through January, Saint Augustine sparkles with white lights, celebrating "Nights of Lights" through the holiday season. |

Visitors today find echoes of our colorful past in the tranquil ambiance of the St. Francis Inn's enclosed courtyard, at the entrance to our reception room. A fountained pond, fed from an artesian well at St. Augustines's historic "Oldest House", is surrounded by lush banana trees, bougainvillea and other tropical flowers. From the reception room through the hallway arch, guests help themselves to iced tea, inn-blend coffee and water, and always-available homemade pastries. The quaint nooks and crannies of our eclectic interior create a cozy, homey feeling in our comfortable common areas. From the upstairs hall, all guests may exit the house to the upstairs balcony.

An old city like St. Augustine was not designed for the vehicle traffic of today, but the St. Francis Inn has off-street parking for guests, conveniently adjacent to the Inn. Our parking lot is on the west side of St. George Street (which is a narrow brick paved street, one way running north to south). The parking lot is identified with a sign that reads "St. Francis Inn Guest Parking." The main Inn is across the street. Breakfast... a buffet breakfast always including two hot homemade entrees, freshly baked pastries and breads, fresh fruit, Barnie's Coffee and assorted teas, fresh juices, granola, cereals, yogurt, and a full serving of Inn hospitality. Breakfast is served 7:30 - 10:00 am. Guests may enjoy breakfast in the Inn's dining room, in your own guest room, on a balcony, or in our courtyard. Evening Social Hour (5:30 - 6:30pm daily) allowing a delightful opportunity to meet other guests and share stories about your visit, over a glass of wine or beer and a great selection of tasty treats. For your pleasure, we serve complimentary beverages and tasty treats such as parmesan artichoke dip and crackers, veggies and dill dip, swedish meatballs, antipasto platter, and international cheeses. |

Evening Desserts (7:30 - 9:00 pm daily) enjoy delicious complimentary homemade desserts with Barnie's Coffee -- regular, decaf and assorted gourmet flavors. Hot chocolate, iced tea, and assorted hot teas are also served to accompany your sweet selections. Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's: Enjoy Mimosas and our make-your-own Bloody Mary bar with our breakfast buffet, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Tour the Old City on bicycle: Complimentary bicycles available for inn guest use. A great way to take in all the charm, sites and history of Saint Augustine, our nation's oldest city. High Speed Wireless Internet: Use your own wireless compatible laptop in your room, in the gardens... anywhere on our property. If your laptop is not wireless compatible, borrow our WI-FI loaner card to gain wireless internet access. |
