Nestled under live oak trees dripping with Spanish moss, The Old Pineapple Inn bed and breakfast is housed in the William H. Gleason House as listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in the Old Eau Gallie area of Melbourne, Florida, this three-story Victorian home remained in the Gleason Family from its initial construction in 1886, until 1995. The structure and grounds have recently undergone an extensive renovation. The Old Pineapple Inn and Guest House are located across the street from the Indian River Lagoon. The Eau Gallie Library, Pineapple Park, and the public fishing pier are all within walking distance. The Eau Gallie Civic Center, the Brevard Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Florida Historical Society, the Post Office, banks, art galleries, restaurants, day spas, antiques, speciality shops, and much more are only a short walk.

A two mile ride by car or bicycle is all that is required to gain access to the glorious Florida beaches on the Atlantic Ocean.

Passing the original fountain area, a brick walkway will lead you from Pineapple Avenue to an expansive verandah dotted with antique wicker and a porch swing. Cool breezes wafting up from the Indian River provide a comfortable setting year round.

Our guest rooms currently consist of three separate suites: the Isabelle Gleason Room with king-size bed, private bath and adjacent sitting area, the Lansing Gleason Room with queen-size bed, porch, and adjacent private bath with original claw foot tub, and, the Carrie Gleason Room with double bed, private bath. The Isabelle and Carrie Gleason Rooms may be connected for a family traveling together.
$105-$165/night.

The completely furnished self-contained Guest House is located behind the Inn and serves our clients who wish to remain in the area for an extended period of time. The guest house will sleep seven guests comfortably in four separate bedrooms and two baths. The Guest House contains a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with piano, parlor, full bath with claw foot tub, and laundry facilities on the first floor. The second floor houses four bedrooms and a central bath. There are two Queen size master bedrooms, a bedroom with a set of twin beds, and a single twin bedroom. A very private, lusciously landscaped yard with pool completes this residence.
$600/weekend and $1800/week
