Introduction
Built in 1925 in the Prairie School style for the Thomas Jenks family, The Jenks House is a taste of old Florida. In 29 years of residence and restoration, Ila Rae and Tom have preserved original features of the Jenks home including some of the Jenks family furniture. Additional furnishings include mission and early art deco pieces. Each morning savor freshly squeezed orange juice along with your full breakfast. Later relax under a ceiling fan on the sun-bathed porch as you enjoy our historic Riverside home.
The Jenks House is famous for the warmth of its heart of pine woodwork and
beautiful oak floors. Subway tile and antique Belgian tile abound. Step into the organic gardens with grapevines and orange trees, and view nature's bounty.
The business traveler will find ample workspace in their room or in the many common areas. Free wireless internet allows you to surf the web from anywhere on the property. We are glad to arrange for late check-in.
