The Howry House

The Howry House was built in 1845 by the Voorhis family. The house was moved to the corner of Howry and Clara Avenue in 1945, where it is presently located. It has 12 foot ceilings both downstairs and upstairs. All of the trim work was carved by hand tools. The rooms are spacious with luxurious linens and comfortable beds. There are four bedrooms upstairs with a private porch. Each room has cable TV, a refrigerator and snacks. A full breakfast is served at our neighboring Bed and Breakfast, the Deland Country B&B.

Although our bed and breakfast just opened, we are not new to the business of creating wonderful vacation places for people to enjoy. Join us for a wonderful stay at the Howry House B&B.
