Welcome to Grandview Bed and Breakfast

Visit the historic William Watt House, circa 1906, complete with windmill on site. The owner of many acres of citrus trees, Watt invented corrugated cardboard as a packaging medium for his oranges. Watt's residence surrounded the groves. The house sits on an acre-plus of land within two blocks of downtown Mount Dora, on the corner of Third and Grandview. Quaint shops, restaurants and antique shops are nearby.

and central air/heat. Full Breakfast served.

The Charleston Room
Beautiful sunset views overlooking the pool from this spacious room with queen-size rice bed. Relax in the original large soaking tub with shower.

Country French Room
Inviting French decor with Parisian prints. The room has a queen bed and spacious bath with shower and tub. Rate: $145

Audubon Room
Bright and cheerful corner room with queen-size bed. Vintage bird prints add to the charm of this spacious and comfortable room. The oversize bath offers soaking tub and shower. Rate: $175

Windmill Cottage
Welcome to the newly remodeled windmill cottage with two spacious sleeping areas - one on each level - and both with private baths. Sleeps up to four. Rate: $225 - $250

Garden Room
Located next to the main house, this handicapped-accessible room is private and spacious. Large bathroom with oversized shower. Small pets welcome; ask for details. Rate: $175

Policies:
  • Two-night minimum on holidays and event weekends.
  • Children 12 and over welcome.
  • One-night deposit required to guarantee reservation.
  • Deposits are refundable up to 7 days before reservation.
  • Check In: 3 PM; Check Out: 11 AM.
  • Applicable taxes apply.
  • No smoking allowed inside house.
