Bokeelia, Florida Bed and Breakfast: The Bokeelia Tarpon Inn is located on the shore of Charlotte Harbor catering to the needs of the discerning traveller. Located in the historic Poe-Johnson home, the Inn has been lovingly restored to reflect old Florida charm and casual luxury. Each of our six guestrooms has a single queen-size bed, private bath, and individual temperature controls. Guests receive full breakfasts, afternoon hor d'ouevres, and may help themselves to our fully-stocked kitchen. Amenities, at no additional cost, include fishing pier, boat ramp and slips, golf carts, kayaks, and bicycles.

Introduction

The Bokeelia Tarpon Inn, which occupies the historic Poe-Johnson home, is located on Bocilla Island overlooking Charlotte Harbor. Guests are afforded magnificent views of the Harbor and its flats, rustic old Florida fishing piers and, across the Harbor, Boca Grande, Bull and Turtle Bays, and Punta Gorda. This Florida Bed & Breakfast is located on the very northern tip of tropical Pine Island, in our own little world far removed from the "new" Florida of high-rises and traffic congestion. The only "high-rises" are the palm trees, and the only "commuters" are the migratory birds. Pine Island, on Florida's Gulf Coast, is accessible by car.

You will enjoy the relaxed pace and warm hospitality of our Bed & Breakfast Inn, along with Bokeelia's several fine restaurants and small artsy shops. Don't forget, Ft. Myers' many attractions are not far. Relax while viewing the panorama of Charlotte Harbor, wake to an expanded tropical breakfast, take to the water for some of the finest tarpon fishing in Florida, go golfing nearby, and enjoy evening cocktails and hors d'oevres under lavender sunsets.

Kayak Adventure
Enjoy 2 nights accommodation with queen bed and private bath. Hors d'oeuvres with wine each evening and full breakfast each morning. Enjoy an early morning guided kayak excursion. See the sunrise and the birds while enjoying the cooler morning air and exploring the back waters of Pine Island. Return to the inn in time for a hearty breakfast. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing, kayaking( non guided), fishing from our pier or biking around the island. $499 per couple inc tax. Add a 2nd guided kayak for an additional $140 per couple inc tax.
