The Victorian Architecture of the home can be seen in the hardwood floors, beautiful carved wood trim, decorative fireplaces and tall ceilings. Located just north of Dupont Circle proper, this home offers easy walking access to countless restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores, shopping, and nightclubs. There are four individually decorated guestrooms at the home. The second floor has a room with a queen-sized bed and private bath and a suite with a queen-size bed, sitting room with sleeper sofa and private bath. The third floor has two additional guestrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. These two rooms share a hall bath. All rooms have premium bed and bath linens. Further amenities include wireless Internet, color televisions with cable, and a continental plus breakfast.

Bed and Breakfast on U. Street is conveniently located just north of Dupont Circle, one of Washington's most prized neighborhoods. Guests will find easy access to the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums and Monuments. The city's Metro system is a short 10-12 minute walk to a choice of the Green or Red line of the City's Metro system. Additionally a major bus line traveling to the White House and the K Street Business district is less than two blocks from the front of the home. Business travelers will find easy access to Washington's new Convention Center, MCI center, and conference hotels- the Hilton Towers, Marriott Wardman Park and Omni Shoreham. All are a short metro ride, or even walking distance as in the Hilton Towers, 4 blocks away.

Evenings in Dupont circle offer a wide variety of more than 80 restaurants from the simple bistro to fine dining. Nearby Connecticut Avenue, is home to one of Washington's best collections of shops, bookstores, movie theaters, the Improv Theatre, and many nightclubs. "Washington's Castro" is just 2 blocks from the home, just south on 17th Street.

Wireless Internet is offered at no additional charge. There is a small rear patio where guests can relax outdoors during Washington's long spring and fall seasons. There are two common rooms for guest use on the first floor, perfect to read a book, or plan the day's sightseeing activities. Smoking is not allowed inside the B&B, but guests may make use of the rear patio or small front porch. If you are traveling by car to DC, this home can provide one off street parking space. This must be arranged in advance, and carries an extra fee of $15/per night.
