You will find it is just a 20 minute walk to the White House and many of Washington's most famous landmarks. We are perfectly located just four blocks North of the Dupont Circle Metro Station. The lively neighborhoods of Adams Morgan and Georgetown are nearby. Because of its proximity to the heart of downtown Washington, Swann House caters to the business client for lodging as well as small corporate retreats, luncheons and receptions. Located on a prominent corner in the Dupont Circle Historic District, this B&B sits amid dozens of colorful shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Swann House is ideally located for intimate weddings and other social affairs.
Swann House is situated on a beautiful residential street just six blocks from DC’s Central Business District, making it an ideal location for the business traveler.

Parisienne Suite - Accessed through a gated brick courtyard, this ground
level suite is decorated with an eclectic Parisian sophistication. The
large queen size bedroom is bright and spacious with rich coral colored
walls, elegant fabrics and a brick fireplace. 2 oversized chairs in the
windowed turret beckon you to relax in this left-bank styled pied-a-terre.
The gleaming white bathroom is well equipped with tub & shower. A coffee
maker and mini-fridge complete the room.
When needed, a second bedroom with a full size bed can be made available
for an additional fee.
Regent Room - Grand second-floor room with a king-size bed, fireplace, marble and mirrored bathroom with Jacuzzi and a private deck overlooking the pool and garden area.
Jennifer Green Room - Romantic second-floor room with a queen-size 4-poster bed, private deck, fireplace and two-chambered bath with an over-sized shower and sunny vanity area.
Mary Rose Room - Quaint second-floor room with a queen-size bed, decorative fireplace and marble bath with original pedestal sink, tub and shower.
Blue Sky Suite - Charming third-floor suite with large queen bedroom decorated in a French country style, antique tiled fireplace, breakfast nook in the window dormer and a separate sitting room with day bed. The bright bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub.
Shanghai’daway - This "Zen" inspired Queen size room located on the lower
level of the house features rich fabrics and warm, soothing colors. The
bathroom is elegantly tiled with imported travertine tiles and features a
large shower with a rainbath showerhead. A custom made bronze counter
with a beautiful glass vessel sink complete the room. While Shanghai'daway may
not receive the natural light of our other rooms, it makes up for it with
charm, privacy and sophistication.
Nantucket Room - Reminiscent of a New England beach cottage, our smallest
room features a queen bed with a white washed headboard and down feather
mattress, whimsical embroidered fabrics and a large window welcoming the
afternoon sun. The shower only bathroom is decorated with warm imported
marble tiles.
Richardson Room - Named for the house's architectural style, Richardson
Romanesque, this grand room on the third floor features a King bed with a
chocolate suede headboard, several large windows and a charming window
seat perfect for reading your favorite book. The bathroom is decorated with
rich imported marble and features a whirlpool tub with a rainbath shower head.
Il Duomo - Romantic! this third-floor room with Gothic windows, cathedral ceilings, a sky-light, king-size bed, fire place and wet bar has an angel mural above the claw-foot slipper tub in the turret that is whimsically reminiscent of the frescoes in the dome of the cathedral in Florence, Italy.
