Our house has evolved architecturally through time, starting out its life as a single family home, then as a host to many businesses. Some of the most unusual architectural additions occurred during the period that it housed an art gallery. Urban eclectic is the style that best describes this house. Even though the DC GuestHouse is an historic 1876 mansion, you will not endure the discomfort of period Victorian furniture. Instead, our house features relaxed, yet luxurious furnishings. Each individual guest room has its own distinctive décor and charm. |
