Woodstock is located in Northeastern Connecticut near the Massachusetts border. It offers many fun events including: The Woodstock Fair, held annually on Labor Day, which began back in 1860, and Celebrating Agriculture, a fall festival filled with agricultural displays, family events, food and entertainment. There are several area attractions including: the Tour Roseland Cottage which is a national landmark built in 1846. This house depicts the summer life of a prosperous family in mid 19th-century America that chose to summer in Woodstock. Also the Palmer Arboretum which is a place for education, enjoyment and enlightenment that's located in the town of Woodstock, CT, on Route 169. When looking for a restaurant in the area you may be interested in trying The Inn at Woodstock Hill.
