Welcome to The Whaler's Inn, a 3-Diamond AAA Approved, Mobil Guide Rated Inn just steps from the attractions of Historic Mystic. From the Inn our guests can walk Mystic's lively Main Street with over 75 unique shops, restaurants, historic sea captains' homes, and enjoy Mystic Seaport Museum, as well as the Mystic River Park, docks and schooner fleet. Originally settled in 1684 on the banks of the Mystic River, our village has retained its charm and history as so few places have in New England. Once a booming 19th century shipbuilding center, our connection to the sea is ongoing, and the sailing schooners still pass beneath the Bascule Drawbridge. Our countryside and shoreline is some of the loveliest in all of Southeastern New England. Whether your interest is sailing, golfing, gambling, or simply a relaxing beach stroll or antique shopping, the Mystic area will charm you!

Step back in time, walk along the banks of the Mystic River, catch sight of a schooner at
full sail, or bicycle between white picket fences and whaling captains' homes.

guest room The Whaler's Inn offers a variety of accommodations and room sizes including rooms with two doubles, queen or king size rooms. Each room has a private bath, cable TV, data port phones, clock radios, air conditioning, and is traditionally decorated with four-poster beds, wing back chairs, and rich color schemes.

Eight luxurious guestrooms occupy the 2nd and 3rd floors of the landmark hotel. The oversized bathrooms are outfitted with pedestal sinks and whirlpool bathtubs. Gas fireplaces add cozy ambiance to each room and the breathtaking views of the scenic Mystic River and Bascule Drawbridge are remarkable!
