The Town of Stonington is in New London County, Connecticut in the southeastern corner of that U.S. state. Stonington Boro Merchants' Christmas Stroll begins on Friday, December 5th, 5:30pm, Snow, Rain or Shine! The first Friday of every month is "First Fridays", where participating Borough shops and galleries will be open until 8pm. Jonathan Edwards Winery produces premium, Napa Valley wines aged and bottled on site, with a gift shop. The Stonington Vineyard is a working winery with tours, wine tastings, gift shop and art gallery. There are also several restaurants including: Noah's Restaurant which is chef owned and operated. They are a small 75 seat casual fine dining restaurant with bar located in the heart of historic Stonington Borough just seven miles east along the coast from downtown Mystic. Also the Skipper's Dock which was founded in 1929. Since its' inception it has been recognized as a fine dining establishment in southeastern Connecticut. It's located on a pier, and offers exquisite views to Long Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.
