Hearth Cooking Classes (11/01/2009 thru 03/31/2010)
Join us on the weekends, November through April, as we spend afternoons preparing historic recipes and cooking over the open hearth. You will learn a variety of techniques including spit roasting, string roasting, frying, boiling, bake (Dutch) oven baking and steaming. Then take your newfound knowledge home and with a couple of cast iron pots and a fire you'll be set! Recipes are drawn from family collections, historic cookbooks, Mystic Seaport and Colonial Williamsburg.

The cost is $40/person or $70/couple for B&B guests; $50/person or $90/couple for day visitors. (Inquire about our group discount.) Perfect for winter storm weekends. For more information please call us at (860) 535-1710.

The Romantic Rendezvous package includes bed and breakfast (your choice of rooms), dinner at Captain Daniel Packer Inne (your choice of times, days, entrees, etc.), a dozen roses, a bottle of French champagne and a box of locally made chocolate truffles.

All of our rooms are large, light and airy with original colonial detail and furnished with mini fridges, bath rooms, bottled water and a customized amenity basket. Packages start at $309 for a single night and $449 for 2 nights. Surprise that special person with the ultimate escape!

Getaway Package
The Getaway Package is an all-inclusive 2 night package: your choice of guest rooms, dinner for two at the Captain Daniel Packer Inne and Noah's of Stonington, and admission for two at either Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium or the Mashantucket Pequot Museum.
