For over 50 years, the Mountain View Inn has welcomed overnight guests in the New England tradition of gracious hospitality. Over 100 years ago, Erastus Johnson settled in this summer resort town. A horse-trader by profession, Johnson the entrepreneur foresaw the potential value of electricity and telephone services in his home town and was instrumental in establishing those needed amenities, securing Norfolk's growth for the new 20th Century.
