The farm was purchased in 1740 by Simon Brewster, great-great grandson of William Brewster, who arrived in the New World in 1620 on the Mayflower. For over two hundred years the Brewster family ran this historic property as a dairy and orchard business. To the rear of the property there is part of the original orchard from the 260 year old farm. There are apple trees still producing golden delicious, macintosh, and macoun apples each year. |
