Griswold is a town located in the northeastern part of New London County. There is an annual fair located near Griswold in New London County every year. The fair goes on from July 24th to the 27th. This great tradition is over a hundred years old! There is a great tour at Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park. There was a battle here in 1781, which Benedict Arnold led British forces again the Revolutionary Army! There are many amazing skiing areas near Griswold. Blandford, Powder Ridge, and Sundown are some popular ones. Mystic Seaport is an amazing place to stop by populated by many objects left by our forefathers! Mystic Pizza is legendary for their delicious pizza. Michael Jordan's Steakhouse is also nearby. The perfect place to get a beer and some steak.
