The Fitch House LLC, is a bed and breakfast inn located in the rolling hills of northeastern Connecticut. This part of Connecticut, known as "The Quiet Corner", offers a more leisurely alternative to the rest of the state. To stay a night at The Fitch House is to step back into a more gracious time, but with the most modern and elegant of amenities.
Step back into the year 1836, a more gracious and leisurely time, secure in the knowledge that you are surrounded by the most modern and elegant of amenities. All rooms throughout the house are tastefully furnished with period antiques.
Guests can congregate in a large living room where there are snacks and beverages available. In addition, there is an Empire-style music room/library with a Steinway piano and a spacious solarium where breakfast is served. Guests can also enjoy the grounds which include a formal, yet comfortable, classical garden. The room rate includes a complimentary full breakfast and nightly turndown service.
