Small Group Getaways
Cornucopia's spacious public rooms and comfortable bedrooms make it an exceptional place for groups of 6 to 12 people. Rent all the rooms for the weekend and your innkeepers will take care of the rest - country breakfasts, snacks, complimentary wine and cheese or soft drinks and cookies. Other meals can be arranged.

In addition to the five spacious guest rooms, we have our inviting keeping room, which is ideal for discussions or games, the parlor for more intimate group activities or quiet reading, and the dining room. The 2.5 acres provide many areas for walking and talking as well as playing games like badminton, croquet and horseshoes. And comes summer, our private secluded pool will be open.

With our secluded swimming pool, acres of gardens and lawns, and our sunny guest rooms and spacious public rooms, Cornucopia at Oldfield is an ideal setting for a summer holiday. In addition to our on-site amenities, there are nearby nature centers for birding or hiking on well-identified trails, hundreds of antique stores within a short drive and miles of beautiful Connecticut countryside all around. Enjoy a bottle of Champagne with strawberries dipped in chocolate either in your room or by the Keeping Room's crackling fire. Beautifully arranged roses await you in your room.

Each special includes a full country breakfast lovingly prepared by your innkeepers; use of the spacious public rooms for relaxing, conversation and our complimentary afternoon wine and cheese or cookies and cocoa. Spend the days inside by the fire, visiting the many antique stores in Woodbury, skiing or tubing at Woodbury Ski Center or hiking the trails at one of the nearby nature centers. Afterward soak in a hot bath with our very own bath salts. Massages are always available upon advance request!
