There is a large sitting area in this beautifully decorated room, which also includes a TV/DVD. The room boasts a large private deck that looks out on both front and back yards. The spacious bathroom includes a whirlpool tub with dual showerheads.

The Selena Aston Bedroom with its queen sized iron bed is a favorite with many of our guests because of its warmth and coziness. Walk out through the French doors onto your personal balcony for a glass of wine and enjoy the sounds of nature. You may even catch a glimpse of our residence woodchuck. The private bath has a claw-footed tub with shower where you can soak away all your cares.

The John Moseley Sleeping Quarters was the original master bedroom in this home. It can be made up with a king size or twin size beds. Step up to the large bathroom with a claw footed tub and shower and soak in our bath salts. A TV/VCR is hidden in the armoire for your enjoyment.

The Virginia Sleigh bed in the Rebecca Moseley adds romance to this beautiful room with all original woodwork surrounding the fireplace and moldings. In addition to the half bath en-suite, there is a private modern full bathroom just down the hall.

The Gables is a private two room suite encompassing the third floor. This charming bedroom with bead board walls has a queen bed, double dresser, rocking chair, and ample lighting for reading. After a long day at work or play, you can relax and watch the TV/DVD/VCR in the cozy sitting room with a futon or sit at the work table and get your writing or work done in this office away from home. For families traveling with children, the futon converts into a double bed. Each room has air conditioning and electric heat. The private full bath is between the two rooms and has a modern stall shower. The Gables Suite is ideal for long term stays, transitions such as moving in or out of the area, and families.

• ARRIVAL
  Check-in is from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
  Alternate times can be accommodated by prior arrangement and special arrangements are required for arrivals after 7:00 PM.
  
• DEPARTURE
  Checkout is 11:00 A.M. Please check with your innkeepers if you need an exception to this policy.

• TARIFFS
  All rates are quoted "double occupancy" and include full breakfast daily.
  Foldaway beds are available for a third person in a room at an additional charge of $25/night.

  CT room occupancy tax of 12% will be added to your bill.

• DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
  Reservations require a valid credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express)or prepayment by check or cash.
  To receive a refund (less $25.00 administrative fee), cancellations must be made 14 days prior to the date of arrival. If you cancel in less than 14 days we will gladly give you a gift certificate for the value of your intended stay that can be used within the next twelve months.

  We accept cash, checks (with proper identification), debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

• CHILDREN
  While many inns of our nature discourage children under 12, we welcome families with attentive parents of well-behaved children who will respect our other guests and our home.
  Children under 12 stay free in the same room as their parents.

• SMOKING
  The Cornucopia at Oldfield is a non-smoking facility.

• POOL
  The swimming pool is open seasonally. It is fenced for safety and is unsupervised; therefore, use is at your own risk. Adults must accompany children and there is no swimming after dark.
